The

trunk,

straight and erect,

branches flirt in the wind

veiny green leaves hug the sun

with puffs of life’s essence erupting in the air

then

captured

by cells,

funneled

through

capillary

and veins

a rush of juices, carrying essential nutrients

extracted from the warm rich soil

by roots and vascular tissue,

pulsating, embracing a

singular design

of life.
