About Old, 2024
A consequential time for America.
This November 2024, we can re-elect an elderly wise statesman who has dedicated his life to public service for this country, the United States, or we can elect an old Conman, a convicted felon, who is devoted to serving himself while corrupting everything around him.
Whether they are eighty-one or seventy-eight is not important. What is important is their depth of character, integrity, and the capacity to make sound decisions based on careful study of the facts and listening to expert advisors. We do not need a President who tries to wing it while playing Golf or watching TV like a fifteen-year-old brat. That is not good for the country. It’s not good for the people.
Joe Biden is widely respected at home and abroad. He has surrounded himself with intelligent politicians and staff in leadership positions who have America's interests at heart. His experience on the world stage and as a politician at home will guarantee a continuation of wise and measured decisions throughout the next four years.
In two thousand sixteen, Donald Trump promised to rule with the best. However, many of his choices turned out to reflect the chaotic and unfocused boss. Donald Trump had a big personnel turnover in his government. Some were convicted, some abused, and others left, but the decent people Donald Trump hired now denounce him as the worst President ever.
As the saying goes, "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is for good men to do nothing."
Since WWI, the USA has been a force for good in the world. However, we have not always been successful. We have had blunders. However, during the last four years, Joe Biden has supported our alliance partners, keeping the USA engaged for the good of this world. If elected, Donald Trump will oxymoronically embody the good man (USA) doing nothing, and evil will flourish under a renewed Trump leadership.
Just a final note: Open-minded people know what they don’t know; therefore, they can learn and become wise with age. Dogmatic and self-righteous people don’t know or accept what they don’t know. Therefore, they will never know.
